Key Responsibilities of the Practice Management Coordinator:
- Plans and organizes training sessions and professional development initiatives for attorneys.
- Manages logistics for practice group meetings, events, and retreats, including agenda creation, scheduling, and calendar coordination.
- Updates and maintains internal resources and practice management databases.
- Supports efforts related to hiring lateral attorneys.
- Oversees expense tracking and budget planning for the practice group.
- Fosters attorney engagement and workplace morale.
- Assists in the attorney evaluation process in collaboration with the Attorney Resources team.
- Generates financial reports and tracks the practice group's financial health.
- Analyzes attorney workload and provides regular utilization updates.
- Contributes to various projects and initiatives aimed at improving practice group operations.
Qualifications of the Practice Management Coordinator:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum two years of relevant experience, preferably in a law firm or professional services setting
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new technologies
