As the Events Coordinator, you will play a key role in planning and managing events, ensuring they run smoothly and exceed expectations. You will interact directly with our members, manage event logistics, and handle administrative tasks related to event planning.
Responsibilities of the Events Coordinator:
- Plan and execute a variety of events, including a large-scale construction awards program, golf events, and the annual holiday party.
- Manage event logistics, including scheduling, vendor coordination, and on-site execution.
- Handle member interactions with professionalism and calmness, especially when addressing changes or issues.
- Maintain and manage event-related databases, ensuring accurate data entry and organization.
- Alphabetize and manage office supplies and event materials.
- Provide detailed reports and updates on event planning progress to the management team.
- Juggle multiple tasks and respond effectively to changing priorities and member needs.
Qualifications of the Events Coordinator:
- Bachelor's degree
- 1-3 years of experience in event planning or a related field.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
- Proficiency in managing databases and handling administrative tasks.
- Outgoing personality with the ability to engage and interact with members.
