As we’re readjusting to the daily commute again, we’ve enjoyed listening to our new podcast, “Leaving the Nest”, where our very own Kathleen shares her insight on graduating from college and navigating the real world as a young adult. Learn more below!
Though most of us are starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel with the pandemic, we can’t help but reflect on the past year and the challenges we were faced with in this competitive job market. It feels like just yesterday it was January 2021, we were still in the midst of lockdown and flooded with qualified candidates looking for jobs. Fast forward to November 2021 and we have done a complete 180 as shown in this Indeed US Job Postings Tracker article.
As 2021 ends and we approach the holiday season, our team is feeling particularly grateful for our loyal clients. We love helping recent grads get their foot in the door with great companies throughout our area. Thank you for choosing to work with a small business, we can’t tell you how much we appreciate it. We wish you all a happy and healthy holiday season and we are looking forward to 2022!

Introducing our new podcast, "Leaving the Nest"!
At ROCS, our passion is to help recent college graduates get their foot in the door and thrive in the real world. However, we've found that even our ROCStars can feel intimidated and insecure upon graduation. They exhaust their energy worrying about what’s to come rather than highlighting their potential. You remember what it was like in your early twenties, right? That’s why our Senior Account Manager, Kathleen launched our new podcast, Leaving the Nest.
She shares her insight on graduating from college and navigating early adulthood. She’ll cover topics on job searching, interviewing, resume building, networking, office etiquette, finances, moving out on your own and so much more. As we all know, there is a lot that goes into “adulting” and Kathleen is excited to help recent graduates feel confident, prepared, and optimistic as they begin to “leave the nest.”
