Responsibilities of the Membership Associate:
- Respond to member and customer inquiries via phone, email, and fax
- Troubleshoot issues related to membership, billing, education access, and product orders
- Maintain and update member records in the association management database (training provided)
- Process membership applications and renewals
- Provide support for educational platform access, continuing education credits, and product fulfillment
- Assist with list reconciliation, data cleanup, and other administrative projects
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve member questions
- Create and maintain standard operating procedures for customer service tasks
- Handle fulfillment issues including missing journal issues and product delivery follow-up
Qualifications of the Membership Associate:
- High School diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred
- 1–3 years of customer service, administrative, or data entry experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Customer-focused mindset with a positive, flexible attitude
- Ability to learn new systems and adapt to changing priorities
