Key Responsibilities:

Build loads and set up carriers, ensuring all logistics are in place for smooth transportation
Make and receive calls to carriers to provide updates, address inquiries, and confirm scheduling details
Schedule pickups and deliveries, while keeping customers informed and updating their systems with critical information
Ensure all necessary documentation is sent to carriers and confirm insurance certificates are in place
Regularly update systems with load details and tracking information for both shippers and carriers
Answer phones, direct calls to the appropriate broker, and handle related communication tasks
Support the accounting department with tasks such as matching invoices to files and issuing payments
Contribute to increasing capacity for specific projects and overall office needs by effectively managing carrier relationships
Provide exceptional customer service, adhering to company standards, and maintaining a professional approach in all interactions
Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers, ensuring accurate information is verified through online applications
Rely on mentors and management for guidance and direction, collaborating with the team to achieve goals
