This position will undertake a wide range of HR tasks, such as organizing trainings, administering employee benefits and leaves, assisting with recruiting, ensuring regulatory compliance, and managing employee relations.
Responsibilities of the Human Resources Administrator:
- Administer various employee benefit programs, such as group insurance, flexible
spending accounts, dependent care accounts, 403(b) - Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee and benefit information in the HR systems by
processing all status changes, salary changes, garnishments, terminations, and
withholding requests immediately upon notification by the employee - Manage leave and paid time off programs in the HR systems, such as vacation,
bereavement, sick, and leave of absence - Prepare required reports as well as special reports as requested
- Assist with onboarding of all new employees, such as new employee orientation,
explanation of benefits, explanation of company policies, practices and procedures,
verifying I-9 and E-Verify - Stay current with local, state, and federal laws, and trends to ensure compliance
- Assist with recruitment process by partnering with hiring managers to identify and hire qualified candidates
- Performs other duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the department
Requirements of the Human Resources Administrator:
- 2-3 years related Human Resources work experience
- Ability to interpret human resources policies, procedures, and guidelines
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Excellent planning and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, multi-task effectively and carry projects to completion according to deadlines
- Well-developed interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Must be able to effectively communicate information to all levels of the organization
- Strong commitment and alignment of values with those of the organization.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, ATS systems and HRIS systems
- Must exercise the highest level of confidentiality and integrity
