Responsibilities:
Administrative Duties:
- Serve as a point of contact for office communications, including managing phone calls and emails.
- Maintain office supplies and coordinate with vendors to ensure operational efficiency.
- Confirm and organize meetings
Accounting Duties:
- Process invoices, track payments, and reconcile accounts.
- Assist with payroll processing and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Support the preparation of financial reports and audits.
- Maintain and organize accounting documents and files.
General Support:
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth communication and workflow.
- Contribute to special projects as needed, providing administrative and accounting support.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field preferred; equivalent work experience will be considered.
- 1-3 years of experience in an administrative or accounting role, preferably in a nonprofit or research organization.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and accounting software (QuickBooks preferred).
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly.
